With over
30 years of corporate, consulting and public sector experience,
Reg is a recognized expert in the areas of individual assessment
and multi-rater assessment processes. Reg's consulting experience
extends to the highest level of some of Canada's most prestigious
organizations in both the private and public sectors. A large
part of his experience was gathered while he was a member
of the Canadian Armed Forces, where he led the research team
at the Personnel Applied Research Unit that was responsible
for developing selection tests.
Prior to establishing Ellis Associates,
he held a senior role with Saville and Holdsworth Ltd. He
has also worked with one of the premier executive assessment
and placement firms in Canada as well as with CN Rail in Montreal.
Frequently sought as a speaker in the areas of individual
assessment, leadership development, executive coaching and
multi-rater processes and systems, his consulting experience
has included the development and implementation of systems
and processes for selection and promotion, performance management,
career planning, and training and development. In addition,
Reg is actively sought after by our clients in the policing
and municipal sectors due to his extensive experience and
understanding of the unique issues associated with those environments.
Reg
obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology
from the University of Waterloo. He has taught at both the
undergraduate and graduate levels at several universities
and is regularly asked to participate in academic forums and
conferences addressing issues faced by HR practitioners in
today's marketplace.
